Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust LAN/WAN and cloud networks. You will lead network projects, enforce security policies, and collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and development teams to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity across properties.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, performing health checks, and documenting configurations and changes to support ongoing operations and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in network administration with hands-on design and management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and vendor technologies across LAN/WAN environments.
• Experience leading teams and collaborating with security, systems, and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Implementation: Develop LAN/WAN and cloud-based networks to support organizational needs.
• Network Management: Oversee configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, health checks, and improvements for reliability.
• Security Management: Enforce network security policies, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced technical support and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed network configurations and performance reports.
• Project Leadership: Lead upgrades, migrations, and new implementations with timely delivery.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, cybersecurity, and development teams for seamless integration.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure operations meet standards and stay updated on best practices.
