Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage complex LAN/WAN and cloud-based networks in a large hospitality environment. You will lead network projects, ensure uptime, and collaborate with IT peers to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto gear, strong TCP/IP, BGP, and VPN skills, plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in network administration with design/implementation emphasis.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and related network protocols.
• Proficiency with Cisco, Palo Alto and other major vendors.
• Knowledge of network security principles and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures (LAN/WAN/cloud) to support organizational needs.
• Oversee configuration, installation, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, perform health checks, and optimize reliability.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and access controls.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes; report on performance.
• Lead network-related projects (upgrades, migrations, new implementations).
• Collaborate with system admins, security experts, and developers for integrated systems.
• Ensure compliance with standards and stay updated on best practices.
