Job summary

Optum Philippines is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Network AIOps platform operations within NSIS, ensuring reliability, governance, and alignment with network needs. This senior role focuses on post-implementation stewardship across global teams.

You will drive improvements in dashboards, signal quality, incident handling, and cross-regional handoffs, partnering with NetOps and SLO owners in a follow-the-sun model across the US and India.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering or platform operations.
• 5+ years in senior, lead, staff, principal, or equivalent role owning a business-critical platform.
• Experience with AIOps, observability, incident management, or AI-enabled operations platforms.
• Experience with follow-the-sun operations and global cross-time-zone coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the Network AIOps platform operations end-to-end.
• Coordinate with NetOps and SLOs on intake, priorities, and support needs.
• Drive dashboard fixes, workflow improvements, and governance of the platform.
• Improve signal quality, event relevance, and AI-assisted operational insights.
• Collaborate with vendors on production support, releases, and ongoing improvements.
