Job summary

CoDev Philippines is seeking a senior software architect/tech lead to design and deliver scalable cloud-native applications on Azure using .NET, ASP.NET Core, and modern patterns. You will translate business needs into robust, secure solutions and drive engineering standards.

Lead 5–6 mid/junior developers, own PR reviews, enforce coding quality, implement IaC, CI/CD, and ensure observability and cost efficiency across APIs and real-time features.

Qualifications

• Proficient in designing secure, scalable cloud architectures using .NET/Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven patterns, and modular monoliths.

Job description

• Working Days: Tuesdays to Saturdays PH Morning Shift 6 AM to 3 PM

Core Responsibilities

1. Engineering & Architecture

• Design and build scalable, secure, cloud-native applications using .NET and Azure
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Define and enforce architecture standards and patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, modular monoliths)
• Ensure systems are built for:
• High availability
• Observability (logging, tracing, metrics)
• Performance and cost efficiency

Required Hands-On Experience With:

Expected Capabilities:

• Design secure cloud architectures (RBAC, managed identities, network isolation)
• Optimize resource usage and cost
• Deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) where applicable
• C# / .NET (Core / 6+)
• ASP.NET Core (APIs, middleware)

Strong Experience With:

• MongoDB (document modeling, indexing strategies)

Build and Maintain:

• APIs
• Background services

4. Frontend & Real-Time Communication

Experience With:

• Blazor WebAssembly
• SignalR (real-time messaging)
• Ability to collaborate on full-stack features when needed

5. DevOps & Delivery

• Build and maintain production-grade CI/CD pipelines

• Release strategies (blue/green, canary)

6. Code Quality & PR Leadership

• Lead pull request (PR) reviews with a strong focus on:
• Maintainability

Establish and Enforce:

• Identify and correct anti-patterns and bad practices
• Act as a technical lead for 5–6 mid/junior developers
• Actively mentor engineers who may have inconsistent, less refined, or underdeveloped engineering habits
