Job summary

SupportNinja is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for a remote, contract-based project lasting six months. Start ASAP with work hours aligned to Manila time (10pm–7am), equipment provided, and an emphasis on delivering high-quality software.

You will develop features, mentor developers, and collaborate with an international team while integrating AI-assisted coding tools into daily workflows.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years in .NET web development with Blazor and C#.
• Experience with Blazor (Server/WebAssembly) and HTML/CSS/JS.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Core 6/7/8 and MVC/Blazor.
• Experience with SQL Server and T‑SQL optimization.
• Experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD and sprint planning.
• Knowledge of design patterns and OOP in C#.
• Excellent communication in a distributed team.

What does a day in the life of a Senior .NET Developer look like?

• Develop features and implement bug fixes across a range of modern .NET based technologies and applications.
• Provides technical leadership and mentoring to software developers, other software engineers and interns.
• Design and create next generation telecom application software, as well as participates in ongoing sustainment of the software.
• Engages with all project team members (i.e. project managers, software architects, software engineers) to ensure technical integrity and successful delivery of high quality software products and projects.
• Participates in all phases of the software development process.
• Works as part of a distributed international team, engaging in global support and implementation activities.
• Participate with the Product Management Team in the training, product briefs, and deployment of new installations both internally and externally.
• Lead by example on AI-assisted development – integrating tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot into daily coding, code review, and debugging workflows; coach and pair with teammates to accelerate AI-augmented development adoption across the team.

What are the required qualifications for a Senior .NET Developer?

• 3 - 4+ Years’ experience with .NET development with a focus on web technologies
• Must have 3–4+ years of hands‑on experience developing web applications using Blazor with C#/.NET, along with strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Core.
• Strong background in .Net Core 6.0/7.0/8.0, MVC / Blazor in C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript – jQuery a plus
• Strong background in applications using Bootstrap or similar web front end framework with HTML5 and CSS3.Experience with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly) for building interactive web UIs within the .NET ecosystem; understanding of component model, data binding, and integration with .NET backend services
• Understanding about Design Patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL Server development including the creation of tables/schema-definition, creation of views, stored procedures, functions, and the optimization of Transact-SQL code.
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills with the ability to present operational and business data through custom-built reporting solutions.
• Experience building custom/internal reporting and dashboard solutions within enterprise applications using .NET/Blazor technologies.
• Experience with commercial BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS is not required.
• 2-3+ years of hands‑on experience designing, developing, or maintaining ETL (Extract,Transform, Load) processes.
• Five or more years engineering or architecting software solutions.
• Fluent in the fundamentals of software engineering and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming in C#, or other .NET languages
• Understanding of source code control, build and deployment disciplines
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps (ADO) for work item tracking, source control, and CI/CD pipeline management
• Active daily user of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) – integrated into core development workflow for code generation, refactoring, test writing, and documentation; not occasional use
• Experience with WCF, REST or SOAP based services and SOA
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - will be working on a geographically diverse team.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Knowledge of BSS/OSS systems, telecommunications plant and facilities management is beneficial
