Job summary

Support Services Group is seeking an experienced .NET Backend Developer in Metro Manila. The role focuses on building scalable, secure server-side applications with C#, ASP.NET Core, and EF Core, and on creating robust RESTful APIs for internal and external use.

The candidate will participate in code reviews, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to microservices architecture, while ensuring best practices and security are upheld across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong ASP.NET Core, Web API, and EF Core expertise.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Solid OOP and SOLID principles knowledge.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit) and mocking.
• Async programming, DI, and middleware experience.
• Authentication/authorization concepts including JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
• CI/CD experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of microservices, messaging (RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and document RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Implement data access via EF Core.
• Write clean, testable code with solid design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and development issues.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services for reliability.
• Contribute to architecture of microservices and distributed systems.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Stay updated on backend technologies and propose improvements.
