Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd in Manila seeks an Application Developer with strong Natural Mainframe programming and Adabas experience. You will design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

The role requires at least 5 years in Natural Mainframe programming, a CS/IT degree, and hands-on SDLC knowledge. Hybrid setup with 2 days onsite per week and 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience in Natural Mainframe Programming.
• Hands-on experience with Adabas tables.
• Experience using Consist or NAT editors.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of software development and engineering principles.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Natural Mainframe.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Maintain application quality, performance, and functionality.
• Follow software development standards and SDLC practices.
