Job summary

Xurpas Inc in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Application Developer specialized in Natural Mainframe and Adabas to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Natural Mainframe programming, strong Adabas experience, and familiarity with Consist or NAT Editors.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Natural Mainframe programming.
Expert proficiency in Natural Mainframe Programming Language.
Hands-on experience with Adabas tables.
Experience using Consist or NAT Editors.
Strong understanding of SDLC and software development principles.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience in application troubleshooting, testing, and debugging.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred).
Familiarity with mainframe application maintenance and enhancement projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Natural Mainframe Programming Language.
Develop and maintain Adabas tables and related database components.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
Support application enhancements and maintenance activities.
