UnitedHealth Group seeks an experienced MS SQL Server DBA to administer and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL in a hybrid-capable environment in Metro Manila. The role includes L2/L3 production support, performance tuning, upgrades, and HA/DR management for large-scale, mission-critical databases.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience across Always On, Replication, CDC, security hardening, and T-SQL development, with a strong track record in complex enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on MS SQL Server DBA experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server (2012-2025) and Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance.
• Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups, Replication, CDC, Backup/Recovery, and HA/DR solutions.
• Experience with performance tuning (Query Store, Execution Plans, Extended Events, DMVs) and T-SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments.
• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting performance, availability, and database issues.
• Manage Always On Availability Groups, Replication, CDC, backup/recovery, and HA/DR solutions.
• Perform SQL Server performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Implement database security, compliance, and automation initiatives.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution.
