Job summary

DTCC is seeking an experienced L3 Messaging Platform Engineer to support and evolve our IBM MQ messaging ecosystem across production and non-production environments. You will drive automation-first reliability and partner with L2 teams, application owners, and infrastructure partners.

The role emphasizes containerized messaging, cloud/hybrid architectures, and CI/CD integration, with opportunities to influence platform strategy and operational maturity. A hybrid on-site/remote model is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong IBM MQ (including MQ IPT, NativeHA) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
• Proven L3 troubleshooting in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the L3 SME for IBM MQ/Messaging Technologies across production and non-production environments.
• Lead problem management and root-cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Design proactive monitoring, alerts, and health indicators to reduce incidents.
