Job summary

TPI Composites is seeking a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for molding processes and technology. You will collaborate across Technology, Quality and Production to implement process improvements, establish requirements, and mature manufacturing technology using a structured readiness framework.

You will develop rigorous test plans, analyze data with SPC and analytics to drive root-cause actions, and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fiberglass composites or similar.
• Direct experience with molding processes (mold prep, gel coat, layup, infusion/cure, bonding) preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen experience preferred.
• Data analytics and SPC used to drive quality and capability improvements.
• Familiarity with automation technologies (robotics, automated layup, controls) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology, Quality, Customer and Production teams to define requirements and controls for process improvements.
• Use manufacturing readiness framework to set technology maturity and action plans.
• Develop and execute test plans to evaluate new technology for production environments.
• Analyze data to drive root cause actions and capability improvements across molding operations.
• Communicate technical content effectively across the organization.
• Influence and align improvement efforts with data-backed decisions.
• Mentor engineers and associates on design and manufacturing processes.
