Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build scalable ML solutions for global HR, payroll, and employee benefits. You will work on predictive analytics, model deployment, and data-driven decision support across international teams.

The role emphasizes production ML, NLP, time-series, and LLM projects, with a permanent work-from-home setup and night shift options. Collaboration with global leaders enables ongoing upskilling and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of ML or data science experience, incl. production models.
• Experience across ML lifecycle: framing, exploration, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
• Strong Python proficiency with pandas and scikit-learn, plus at least one DL/transformer library.
• SQL and Snowflake proficiency; knowledge of Snowpark or in- warehouse compute.
• Experience with LLMs: prompt design, embeddings, RAG, and evaluation of non-deterministic outputs.
• Familiarity with fairness and regulatory considerations in employment data.

Responsibilities

• Frame business challenges as ML/AI problems and select modeling approaches.
• Develop feature engineering, training, and inference logic in Snowflake and Python.
• Define evaluation methods, release criteria, and monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate with MLOps on deployment, cost, and governance; mentor teammates.
• Translate privacy and regulatory requirements into technical approaches.
• Conduct bias and fairness assessments and propose remediation when needed.
