Job summary

Emapta Philippines seeks a Senior Data Engineer to architect a scalable Snowflake data foundation across payroll, HR, analytics, and AI workloads for global operations. You will govern pipelines, enforce standards, and influence platform strategy while ensuring security, reliability, and performance.

You will lead the data platform, collaborate with machine learning and BI teams, and mentor engineers to elevate technical capabilities and cross-functional delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering with production data platform ownership.
• Advanced SQL with complex joins, windows and optimization.
• Deep Snowflake experience incl. warehouse design and security.
• Strong Python for modular data pipelines and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and own Snowflake platform architecture and governance.
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines across payroll/HR analytics.
• Define dbt standards, CI, testing, and documentation.
• Lead data quality, lineage, and security controls.
• Architect orchestration with Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with BI teams to deliver semantic models and metrics.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical standards.
