Job summary

Ace Hardware Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Category Manager to lead strategic vendor sourcing and develop category programs across assigned categories in the paints department.

You will forecast sales, inventory and margins to support business objectives, manage category margins for profitability, and provide leadership to category managers while promoting the company's vision.

This role requires retail experience in paints and a hands-on, results-driven approach in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plans and programs for strategic vendor sourcing & develop programs per category.
• Managing procurement strategies for assigned categories (Stock Plan/Open to buy )
• Develop Category promotions, highlights for revenue drivers
• Manage category margins that will support bottom line profits.
• Forecast sales, inventory, & margins to support business objectives
• Provide leadership to direct reports – category managers for performance management
• Demonstrate and promote organizational vision and mission
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
