ADEC Innovations PH - Careers is seeking an experienced Medical Coder to review clinical documentation and accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for healthcare services in a compliant manner. The role requires coding accuracy, collaboration with care teams, and adherence to payer guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, CIC, RHIT, or RHIA) and has at least 3 years of medical coding experience across professional, facility, ED, ASC,

• Bachelor's Degree in a medical allied field or related healthcare field.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA).

Responsabilidades

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, E/M codes, and modifiers.
• Review medical records to ensure proper code selection, sequencing, and documentation support.
• Validate medical necessity, charge capture, claim accuracy, and reimbursement requirements.
• Research and resolve coding edits, denials, and documentation discrepancies.
• Collaborate with providers, billing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure coding compliance and revenue integrity.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while adhering to HIPAA and organizational policies.
