Job summary

ISTA Solutions, an outsourcing/offshoring company, seeks a Senior Medical Billing Specialist to lead and grow a U.S. medical billing team in Makati, Philippines. You will oversee claims processing, denials, AR, and cash posting while coaching staff to hit accuracy and productivity targets.

Minimum 2 years of BPO U.S. medical billing experience, SNF and HMO billing background, and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of BPO U.S. medical billing experience.
• At least 6 months of team lead / supervisory / SME / Senior experience.
• At least 1 year of dedicated SNF billing experience.
• Experience billing HMO, Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial Insurance.
• Strong English communication skills and HIPAA compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end medical billing process including claim submission, denial management, follow-ups and cash posting.
• Lead, supervise, and coach the medical billing team to achieve targets and accuracy.
• Monitor team productivity and billing metrics against established goals.
• Process SNF, HMO and other payer claims ensuring regulatory compliance and timely filing.
• Perform AR follow-up, payment posting, ERA/EOB reconciliation and denial management.
