Job summary

Aurecon in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical and piping design for data centre backup power fuel systems, collaborating with local and offshore teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

You will design fuel storage, distribution and transfer piping, develop Revit models, perform hydraulic calculations, and ensure compliance with relevant standards while coordinating with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical or piping engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in modelling software, particularly Revit.
• Experience in piping/mechanical design in food & beverage, dairy, or water industries.
• Knowledge of hygienic and pressure piping system design, surge analysis, and pump sizing.

Responsibilities

• Design fuel storage, distribution, and transfer piping systems for backup power applications.
• Develop and maintain Revit models for mechanical and piping systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, including pipe sizing and pump selection.
• Produce coordinated spatial layouts and resolve design clashes with other disciplines.
• Prepare technical documentation, design reports and engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and project teams throughout delivery.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to stakeholders.
