Job summary

Optimum Info Solution Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to lead Microsoft security technology administration, cloud security design, and incident response across shore and vessel environments.

You will implement SOAR playbooks, automate routine security tasks with agentic AI, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and NIST CSF 2.0 while collaborating closely with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Hands-on experience configuring and administering Microsoft security technologies.
• Experience securing cloud platforms and workloads and implementing security controls.
• Experience developing SOAR playbooks and automation workflows.
• Exposure to agentic AI or AI-assisted SOC operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and NIST CSF 2.0 controls and audits.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and integrate Microsoft security technologies (Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Purview DLP, Intune).
• Design, implement and manage security controls across cloud platforms and workloads.
• Operate and improve security platforms (Rapid7, Sophos XDR, email security, UpGuard, KnowBe4).
• Investigate and respond to security incidents across shore and vessel environments; perform containment and root-cause analysis.
• Design and implement SOAR playbooks and automation workflows; apply agentic AI to alert triage and reporting.
• Support identity and access security, including MFA, conditional access and PAM; secure remote/vendor access.
• Demonstrate strong security operations knowledge and SOC workflows; mentor team members.
