Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced SOC Manager in the Philippines to lead the Security Operations Center, drive incident response, and oversee detection technologies across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments.

You will coordinate SOC personnel, deliver executive reports, and push continuous improvements in detection, response, and runbooks while partnering with security and IT stakeholders to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership in a SOC/IR/Security Operations role.
• Proven track record leading cybersecurity operations teams and managing personnel, performance, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOC functions: monitoring, triage, incident investigation, response and readiness.
• Supervise, coach, and develop SOC personnel.
• Oversee detection and response using MDR, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and related security tech.
• Serve as primary escalation point for high-severity incidents with containment and communication.
• Develop SOC procedures, runbooks, and monitoring requirements.
• Provide regular security incident and threat trend reporting to executives.
• Lead post-incident reviews and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Oversee detection engineering to reduce false positives and expand coverage.
• Maintain understanding of modern attack techniques including cloud and SaaS threats.
