Job summary

Aqualis Group Philippines is seeking a senior offshore engineer to lead complex marine and offshore projects from concept to detail design and life extensions. You will review technical work, mentor engineers, and help grow capabilities across the discipline.

Based in Cebu, the role requires extensive experience with offshore standards, project delivery and client liaison. Travel to client sites may be required; you must have the right to work in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years in marine and/or energy industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of class rules, offshore standards and industry codes.
• Experience leading or providing technical oversight of engineering teams.
• Proven track record delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Ability to work independently at senior level with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of current industry standards, methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to review and approve structural deliverables and analyses.
• Experience with FEA software: SACS/SESAM/STAAD.Pro; FEMAP/ANSYS.
• Familiarity with 3D design tools such as ShipConstructor/Aveva/Inventor desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical consultancy across marine and offshore projects.
• Review and approve engineering work per standards and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to engineers and designers.
• Help develop technical capabilities, standards and best practices.
• Contribute to engineering process improvements and methodologies.
• Manage projects ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.
• Identify and coordinate required resources for project execution.
• Maintain communication with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project.
• Support project administration activities including planning, invoicing and cash collection.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients with Product and Sector Leads.
• Support business development, marketing and tendering activities.
• Represent the company at industry events and support growth initiatives.
• Identify training needs and contribute to development of materials.
