Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to own and improve specific manufacturing processes within a wafer fab or assembly/test facility. This role sustains daily operations, analyzes process data, and leads projects to improve yield, quality, and cost while driving production-line efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize SPC/DOE methods, and apply data analysis tools to optimize processes in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in process/manufacturing engineering; or a Master's degree.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and process/equipment roles.
• Strong knowledge of SPC and DOE.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong communication and proficiency with data analysis software like JMP.

Responsibilities

• Owns manufacturing tools or processes, monitoring daily performance and control (SPC).
• Analyzes process data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Leads small projects to improve yield, reduce cost, or enhance quality.
• Troubleshoots process and equipment problems to determine root causes and corrective actions.
