Job summary

Accenture PLC in the Philippines is seeking a Reverse Engineer Advanced Threats to join the Cybersecurity team. You will hunt malware, analyze advanced threats, and strengthen defenses for global organizations.

You will collaborate with threat hunters, DFIR specialists, and SOC teams to develop detection content, IOCs, and threat intelligence while mentoring junior analysts and building malware research expertise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Malware Analysis, Reverse Engineering, Malware Engineering, Threat Research, DFIR, or Threat Intelligence
• Strong understanding of malware execution techniques, persistence mechanisms, and attacker methodologies
• Experience investigating malware, ransomware, APTs, or targeted attacks
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux internals

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer malicious code to understand behavior, execution flow, and attacker objectives
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux environments
• Investigate malware-related incidents and support digital forensic investigations
• Develop indicators of compromise (IOCs), behavioral analytics, and detection content
• Partner with Threat Intelligence, SOC, and Incident Response teams to improve detection and response capabilities
• Research emerging threats, malware families, and adversary techniques
• Document findings and communicate technical risks to stakeholders
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development
