Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking experienced Malware Engineers to join the team in Manila. You will analyze and reverse engineer malware, perform advanced static and dynamic analysis, and feed actionable threat intelligence to improve defenses.

You will support incident response investigations, collaborate across SOC/DFIR and Threat Intelligence, and help develop IOCs and detection rules while mentoring peers and guiding stakeholders on security improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Malware Analysis, Malware Engineering, or Reverse Engineering.
• Strong understanding of malware behavior and threat actor methodologies.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux internals and operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with industry tools to analyze and debug malware.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reverse engineer malware to understand threat behavior and impact
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis and develop actionable threat intelligence
• Support incident response investigations involving malware-related incidents
• Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Intelligence teams to improve detection and response capabilities
• Develop and maintain detection rules, signatures, and indicators of compromise (IOCs)
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing within the team
• Partner with stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity defenses and response strategies
