Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a Reverse Engineer to analyze sophisticated malware, perform static and dynamic analyses, and develop robust detection content. You will work with threat hunters, DFIR specialists, and cyber defense teams to strengthen defenses for global organizations.

The role offers hybrid work from Cubao, Quezon City, with opportunities for training, certifications, and career growth across the cybersecurity practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Malware Analysis, Reverse Engineering, Malware Engineering, Threat Research, DFIR, or Threat Intelligence.
• Strong understanding of malware execution techniques, persistence mechanisms, and attacker methodologies.
• Experience investigating malware, ransomware, APT, or targeted attacks.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux internals.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and cyber-attack techniques.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer malicious code to understand behavior, execution flow, and attacker objectives.
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux environments.
• Investigate malware-related incidents and support digital forensic investigations.
• Develop indicators of compromise (IOCs), behavioral analytics, and detection content.
• Partner with Threat Intelligence, SOC, and Incident Response teams to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Research emerging threats, malware families, and adversary techniques.
• Document findings and communicate technical risks to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development.
