Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a capable legal professional to support the Head of Legal, draft and negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic corporate environment.

You will provide strategic legal advice, draft opinions, monitor regulatory changes, and contribute to policy development. Experience in real estate, construction, and ICT is preferred; strong ethics and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor from a Philippine law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the Philippines; in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant law practice in a law firm; high ethical standards and strict confidentiality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with strong legal and commercial judgment.
• Team-oriented, efficient and hardworking; willing to learn in other areas of law and business.
• Experience in real estate, construction, and ICT is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Legal in assigned duties.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure company compliance with all relevant laws.
• Structure, draft, review and negotiate contracts to align with objectives.
• Provide strategic and practical advice on contract terms and risks to stakeholders.
• Render legal opinions.
• Monitor updates in the legal landscape for compliance changes.
• Develop, maintain and improve legal guidelines, policies and standard form agreements.
• Conduct trainings/orientation on legal matters and business processes.
• Support the legal department's KPIs.
• Prepare letters to government agencies and demand letters; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Head of Legal.
