As a Senior Lead within the Governance & Reporting team in Talent & Culture (T&C) Non-Financial Risk (NFR) at ANZ, you'll play a key role in supporting the aggregation of risk insights and the development of divisional risk perspectives across T&C. Working closely with business stakeholders and T&C FNR Centres of Excellence teams, you'll help provide a holistic view of the risk and control environment to support effective governance and decision-making.

What will your day look like?

As part of a lean team of specialists and experts, you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the Senior Manager Governance & Reporting, partnering with stakeholders across T&C and the T&C NFR Centres of Excellence teams.
• Coordinating risk assessments, risk profiles and reporting activities, helping to provide a consolidated view of the divisional risk and control environment.
• Aggregating and synthesising risk insights and delivering risk reporting to Functional Governance Forums and T&C Risk Management Committee to support governance practices and informed decision-making across T&C.
• Supporting the monitoring and reporting of risks against appetite, identifying emerging themes and escalating issues where appropriate.
• Supporting regulatory change and impact activities, including assessments, action planning and tracking progress against regulatory commitments.
• Facilitating root cause analysis and contributing to event and issue management, as well as lessons learned activities to help strengthen risk management outcomes across T&C.
• Helping to build risk capability and a strong risk culture through coaching, guidance and knowledge sharing across the business.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Extensive relevant experience in risk, governance, controls, audit, assurance or related disciplines within a complex organisation, with a strong understanding of non-financial risk management frameworks, risk assessment, control environments and assurance concepts.
• Strong analytical and risk management capability, including the ability to aggregate and synthesise risk and control information, identify emerging risks and themes, apply sound judgement and provide clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Experience supporting risk assessment processes, risk reporting, issue management, root cause analysis and regulatory change activities, with an understanding of risk appetite, governance and escalation practices.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships across business teams, Centres of Excellence and risk functions, influence stakeholders and coordinate outcomes across multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk and control information into clear, concise reporting, governance materials and senior stakeholder-ready insights.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, with experience contributing to capability uplift, governance enhancements and better ways of working in a dynamic environment.
