Job summary

IAIP is seeking a Senior Actuarial Associate to apply pricing techniques across life insurance and reinsurance, support data analytics, and participate in strategy for global clients. You will collaborate with underwriting, valuation, and technical accounts teams to deliver robust pricing solutions.

The role requires advanced actuarial credentials with deep pricing experience and willingness to travel, with opportunity to engage across India and international markets.

Qualifications

• Nearing Qualified actuary with 15+ years of work experience in life insurance or reinsurance pricing.
• Ability to initiate, organize and manage projects independently.
• Self-motivated with integrity, ownership, negotiation and quick decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate strategic vision into operational models.
• Team player with strong oral, written and persuasive communication at all levels.
• Willing to travel across India and outside India as required.
• Willing to participate in local and global actuarial seminars and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Capable of independently applying actuarial techniques to support pricing, underwriting, accounting, financial reporting, data analytics and valuation.
• Pricing standard quotes with minimal supervision and delivering within timelines.
• Completing data analytics for setting reasonable best estimate pricing assumptions.
• Setting pricing basis for all lines of business by collecting and analysing information and market statistics.
• Periodic updating of pricing & addendum templates.
• Performing experience analysis as part of In-Force management.
• Drafting proposal and treaty documentation.
• Develop partnerships with potential clients and create distribution/product solutions.
