Job summary

Marcura is seeking a Manager, Compliance Due Diligence to lead a KYB/KYC/KYP team delivering risk-based due diligence across Marcura Group units. You will supervise multi-location teams, ensure regulatory obligations are met, and drive governance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement with Group Compliance and business units.

The role requires extensive experience in KYB/KYC/KYP, sanctions knowledge, and leadership across remote teams, reporting to the Head of KYB.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a compliance-related role with KYB and KYC due diligence experience across regulated and non-regulated environments.
• 5+ years management experience, including managing other managers and remote/multi-location teams.
• Experience in the maritime or shipping sector.
• Experience managing compliance operations across multiple business units or service lines.
• Strong knowledge of international sanctions regimes (UK OFSI, US OFAC, EU) and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Proficiency with compliance screening and due diligence platforms; comfortable with user access governance.
• Deep ability to apply a risk-based approach proportionately across regulated and non-regulated services.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day KYB/KYC/KYP function oversight across location teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review and manage escalations on high-risk cases and sanctions hits; escalate to Group MLRO as required.
• Oversee user access governance for screening and due diligence systems.
• Design and implement KYB/KYC processes across units, updating for regulatory changes.
• Map KPIs and SLAs and provide insights to Compliance leadership.
• Coordinate leave planning and maintain operational continuity.
