Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or API Management.
• Proven expertise in managing and extending Kong API gateway.
• Hands-on experience developing Lua plugins and configuring API routing and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kong API gateway instances.
• Develop and maintain Lua plugins to extend gateway functionality.
• Configure and optimize API routing, load balancing, and rate limiting policies.
• Implement authentication and authorization policies at the edge.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate APIs across the ecosystem.
• Monitor gateway performance and troubleshoot latency or connectivity issues.
