Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced JDE on IBM i integration specialist to design, develop, and support JD Edwards integrations across ERP, WMS, and middleware. You will work with WMi, MIF, and IBM i technologies on AS/400, building robust interfaces and batch processes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise apps, strong debugging and production-support skills, and a deep understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise app development.
• Strong experience with JD Edwards on IBM i.
• Hands-on IBM i technologies (DB2 for i, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, batch/jobs).
• Experience with JDE-WMS integrations and on-premise WMi.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and support JDE on AS/400 / IBM i.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between JDE and warehouse-management systems.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions across ERP, WMS, and middleware.
• Troubleshoot production issues across JDE, WMi, MIF, DB2, batch processes, and interfaces.
• Support core supply-chain workflows (orders, inventory, receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, transfers).
• Perform impact analysis for changes.
• Develop interfaces using batch files, transactions, messaging, APIs.
• Implement logging, monitoring, reconciliation, and error-handling.
• Support testing, release management, deployment, production support, and hyper-care.
• Create technical docs and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with Architect, BAs, supply-chain teams, and production-support teams.
