Job summary

Vantive is seeking a highly skilled ERP Technical Lead with JD Edwards expertise to oversee the Account to Report and Finance processes within a global organization. You will bridge business stakeholders and IT, own finance sub-systems, and drive performance, scalability, and compliance across worldwide operations.

You will lead design, development, and integrations, mentor teams, ensure documentation, and coordinate with vendors and onshore/offshore teams to deliver robust financial solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in technical roles working with JD Edwards, especially EnterpriseOne Finance modules
• Strong technical proficiency in JD Edwards toolsets, such as Business Services (BSSV), Business Functions (BSFNs), Object Management Workbench (OMB), UBE Reports, Orchestrator)
• Experience with CNC concepts and JDE security is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of technical workflows in Account to Report (A2R) processes and how they integrate with other systems
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, API documentation, configuration specs, and user manuals.
• Experience in managing system upgrades and patches for JD Edwards, ensuring all technical aspects of the system are aligned with global business objectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a deep technical aptitude to analyze and resolve complex issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Proven project leadership and strong communication skills, with ability to collaborate across IT, finance, and business stakeholders.
• Experience in project management for ERP systems, particularly related to technical upgrades, implementations, or large‑scale system enhancements, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the technical and functional support of the JD Edwards ERP system for the Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and related interfaces
• Lead the design, development, and integration of JD Edwards finance-related systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements, then translate them into actionable system design and development tasks, prioritizing performance and functionality
• Develop and oversee implementation, customization, and upgrades of JD Edwards Finance modules, ensuring system configurations meet business and technical specifications
• Collaborate with third‑party support teams and delivery teams to address technical issues, implement necessary enhancements, and ensure all technical solutions are aligned with global IT standards
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning for JD Edwards Finance modules, focusing on resolving integration issues with other systems, databases, and external services
• Lead system integration efforts for end‑to‑end financial flows, integrating JD Edwards with third‑party applications, APIs, EDI systems, and legacy platforms, ensuring system integrity through rigorous troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintenance of system integrations
• Oversee data conversions and system integrations for finance operations
• Ensure technical documentation, including detailed system designs, architecture diagrams, and interface documentation are maintained
• Ensure system compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements, including internal controls and financial reporting standards
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior team members and onshore/offshore support teams
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, intercompany and multi‑currency setup is highly desirable
• Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment
• Ability and maturity to manage senior level stakeholders globally
• Experience in working in regulated environments (i.e. privacy/compliance)

• Proficiency in system integrations, including the ability to design and implement APIs, web services, and integration tools between JD Edwards and external systems

• Strong experience with SQL, database management, and creating complex queries for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data within JD Edwards
