Job summary

A technology consulting company is seeking an experienced Java Developer in the Philippines to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, focusing on robust API development. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Java SE and Java EE technologies, along with proficiency in springboot, Hibernate ORM, and front-end development. This role is 100% onsite in BGC, and candidates must be open to a full onsite setup.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in Java SE / Java EE technologies.
• Proficient in springboot and Hibernate ORM.
• Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related client-side technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Web Services (SOAP / REST).
• Solid understanding of Java Design Patterns and OOP principles.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience working with Application Servers (Jetty, JBOSS, Tomcat).
• Experience with Databases (Oracle, MySQL).
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems (SVN, GIT, Mercurial).
• Comfortable using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications focusing on API development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
• Implement coding, testing, and documentation best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
