Global Payments is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Software Engineer to design and build scalable distributed systems. You will contribute to both backend Java/JEE and frontend JavaScript work, delivering robust REST APIs and responsive UI components.

You’ll join a global team, collaborate in Agile environments, and apply best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation to shape the future of global commerce.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development and web UI experience.
• 6+ years in Java development.
• 5+ years in frontend development.
• 5+ years building large websites with HTML & CSS.
• Experience with Java EE platforms.
• OO analysis and design using design patterns.
• Extensive REST API design and development.
• Java/JEE internals knowledge.
• SQL and ORM (JPA/Hibernate).
• Spring MVC experience.
• React.js experience.
• Responsive web design.
• Git-based version control.
• Agile methodology.
• Experience with JSF/Wicket/GWT/Spring MVC.
• Test-driven development.
• Unit testing frontend code and PowerMockito.

Responsibilities
