ATOMIT Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to design, develop, and maintain secure fintech and cloud-based applications. You will work with Java and modern frameworks to build scalable systems handling payments and high-volume data.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, code reviews, mentoring juniors, and collaborating with tech leads, PMs, QA, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality software with performance and security at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and microservices.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure and Docker.
• Experience in FinTech, payment systems, or cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure fintech and cloud-based apps using Java and modern frameworks.
• Build scalable microservices and APIs powering payment platforms and transaction systems.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Managers, QA, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and security for high availability targets.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and Agile ceremonies.
