Job summary

CI&T in the Philippines seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to act as a technical leader and mentor within a cross-functional team. You will own complex software solutions, lead the maintenance of mission-critical legacy applications, and bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives.

You will modernize legacy systems, drive 99%+ uptime, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of Java enterprise development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, testing and deployment of complex features in large codebases.
• Maintain, refactor and modernize legacy Java/J2EE code with attention to technical debt.
• Lead incident response and RCA to ensure 99%+ uptime.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and drive testing/monitoring.
• Communicate technical updates to stakeholders effectively.
