Job summary

NOONA is seeking a software engineer in Taguig to contribute to data analysis and database logic, and to design, code, test, and maintain software modules aligned with business requirements.

The role includes Oracle database development, configuring and testing application components, and participating in code reviews to ensure design traceability, with a hybrid setup (onsite Tue/Wed in BGC, Taguig) and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in JavaSE/JavaEE and OOP.
• Experience with SQL and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of MVC Architecture.
• Experience with MyBatis/ibatis and Spring.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
• Familiarity with JSP, Javascript, JQuery, ReactJS and Redux.
• Good English communication skills.
• At least 4-5 years IT/software experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists the team to accomplish the company’s software products and projects’ data analysis and database business logic




• Design flow, code, test and maintain the software modules according to business requirements.




• Execute the development of the oracle database (storage process, package, trigger and function)




• Configure, build, and test the application technical components




• Assists in code reviews and quality reviews to ensure traceability of the designs in the requirements




• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing

Qualifications

• Experience in online gaming development is an advantage but not required




• Experience for JSP, Javascript, JQuery,Reactjs and Redux is an advantage




• Knowledgeable in MVC Architecture




• Required Skill(s): JavaSE, JavaEE, Object Oriented Programming Experience in SQL, MyBatis/ibatis, Spring




• Experience in how to optimize SQL performance




• Experience in how to process multiple thread




• Knowledge in Web Services (Preferably REST)




• Knowledgeable in using source control: SVN Preferably GIT




• Knowledge on RESTFUL API and integration Patterns




• Must be a team player




• Good English communication skills both written and oral




• At least 4-5 years of working experience in specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent




• Has College/Bachelor's Degree




• Willing in a work schedule, Mondays to Fridays, 10am to 7pm




• Amenable in a hybrid setup (Tuesdays and Wednesday will be on site).




• Reporting office is in BGC,Taguig City
