Job summary

Michael Page in the Philippines is partnering with a global customer experience and technology solutions company to recruit a Backend Java Developer. You will develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, design RESTful APIs, manage relational databases, and contribute to CI/CD and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot with strong OO concepts.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs for frontend-backend integration.
• Solid SQL knowledge with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiar with CI/CD and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and version control, and basic testing (JUnit/Mockito).

The Successful Applicant

• Backend Frameworks: Proficiency in one or more Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
• API Development: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases like MySQL,
