Job summary

Binary Technology Development in the Philippines is seeking an experienced backend engineer to lead the development of large-scale software systems and infrastructure upgrades. You will write clean, maintainable Java code and guide junior engineers while enforcing engineering best practices.

The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, core Java and Spring, MySQL and NoSQL, plus messaging patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software development experience, preferably in backend.
• Proficient in core Java and familiar with Spring framework.
• Proficient in MySQL, and familiar with at least one NoSQL DB.
• Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging system.
• Capable to cope with stress and quickly learn new knowledge.
• Good cross-team communication skills.
