Job summary

GECO Philippines in Alabang is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade applications. This role focuses on building scalable microservices and cloud-ready solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, contribute to RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and modernization efforts while mentoring juniors as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience with full-stack web development (Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL).
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.).
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and ORM frameworks.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, and modern development tools.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
