Job summary

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd invites a Senior Java Developer to join our hybrid team in Alabang, Manila region. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, contributing across the full SDLC.

You’ll troubleshoot, implement enhancements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Java development, strong SQL (MySQL), and experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, and modern backend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 8 and newer versions, particularly Java 17 or above.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework ecosystem.
• Strong background in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with application analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong SQL and database experience, preferably MySQL.
• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software development best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
