Job summary

GECO Asia is seeking aSenior Java Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications across platforms. You will build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and develop front-end interfaces using React or Angular, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

The role requires at least five years of Java development experience with Java 8+/11+/17, strong REST API knowledge, and familiarity with relational databases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Proficient with Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Front-end experience with React or Angular is required.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot
• Develop and support responsive web applications using React, Angular, or similar front-end frameworks
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in development and production environments
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, QA teams, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Strong experience with Java 8+/11+/17 and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Angular, or similar front-end frameworks
• Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration
• Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
• Experience using Git and working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting and maintaining production applications
