Maya is modernizing its in-house Core Banking System within the CBS Mesh, focused on the Savings and Deposits platform. The Senior Software Engineer will drive backend development for the new platform, balancing cross-team collaboration and architecture decisions.

Expect to use AI-assisted tools for design exploration and code generation while maintaining high standards of reliability and security in financial services.

Formación

• 5+ years in backend/distributed systems
• Strong Java and OOP fundamentals
• Understanding of software design patterns
• Knowledge of web standards and cross-browser considerations
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical leadership

Responsabilidades

• Design and build microservices across the platform's tiers
• Collaborate across multiple teams including ledger and account-management squads
• Contribute to architecture and sequencing in a multi-squad program
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools while ensuring correctness of production code
