Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Senior IT SOX Compliance Analyst to lead hands-on ITGC testing and strengthen the internal control environment across a global enterprise. The role emphasizes execution in a fast-paced, audit-driven setting, collaborating with IT control owners, Internal Audit, and cross-functional teams to ensure controls are properly designed, executed, evidenced, and remediated.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MIS, Information Systems, or related field.
5–8 years of hands-on IT audit, SOX compliance, or IT risk management.
Strong knowledge of SOX ITGCs and familiarity with ITACs.
Experience with audits and working with Internal/External Audit teams.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and with Audit/GRC tools (AuditBoard).

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end SOX ITGC activities including walkthroughs, design validation, and evidence review.
Provide hands-on control testing support ensuring evidence is complete and accurate.
Review control execution and documentation to identify gaps and deficiencies.
Drive remediation with control owners to close gaps and improve effectiveness.
Coordinate evidence collection for audits and respond to auditor queries.
Support onboarding of new systems into SOX scope and perform risk assessments.
