Job summary

Manulife Financial Corporation is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects through initiation, development and implementation in a hybrid Manila setting.

You will coordinate with Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to ensure regulatory and technical compliance while driving milestone progress across complex programs. This role requires 15 years of work experience with at least 8 years in an agile Project Manager capacity, preferably in insurance or banking domains,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning.
• Extensive project management experience with agile teams (15 years total, 8+ years as PM).
• Experience with enterprise-level application development; insurance and banking domain preferred.

The Sr. IT Project Manager manages and coordinates business and technical projects through all phases of initiation, development and implementation.

Position Responsibilities

• Manages cross-squad programs across complex technical, regulatory, or other cross-cutting needs.
• Ensures progress against important milestones where consistent and coordinated implementation is required.
• Leads coordination efforts with some leadership support of Product Owners, Architects and Engineers to meet regulatory and technical requirements.
• Manages and coordinates business and technical projects through all phases of initiation, development and implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor Degree.
• Must have strong level of understanding of company patterns and analytical models of his expertise.
• Must have good analytical skills, copes with complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning.

• 15 years of work experience and minimum 8 years solid experience as a Project Manager working on agile teams.
• Prior experience with Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
• Experience in the Insurance and Banking industry preferred.
