Job summary

Fusion Consulting seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimisation of SAP EWM systems within pharmaceutical operations. The role combines technical PM leadership with navigating GxP/GDP regulatory frameworks and delivering transformational warehouse solutions.

You will drive planning, execution, and change management across multi‑phase projects, mentor teams, and manage budgets and vendors to optimise cost and performance in a global consulting setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in IT project management with at least 5 years leading EWM or warehouse management system implementations
• Proven SAP EWM configuration, customization, and deployment experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (GxP, GDP) and multi‑phase project budgeting over €1 million
• Excellent English communication and leadership skills to present to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of EWM implementations within scope, budget, and timeline constraints
• Manage stakeholder communications across departments and external partners
• Develop project plans with resource allocation, risk mitigation, and contingencies for pharma ops
• Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of EWM ensuring regulatory compliance (GxP, GDP)
• Direct and mentor project teams to maintain high technical standards
• Translate business requirements into technical specs with IT architects and warehouse ops
• Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relations for cost optimisation
• Facilitate change management to ensure user adoption of new systems
