Senior iOS Mobile App Developer
Build native iOS apps in Swift for an eight-month bank mobile project. Hybrid in Makati, full-time day shift, start 12 October.
Product Delivery Group: Makati City, Philippines. Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week. Project-based, full-time, day shift 12 October 2026 to 30 June 2027 (8 months). Salary: PHP 90,000 - 120,000 per month.
About The Role
This is an eight-month, full-time, day‑shift, project-based engagement from 12 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. You must be available to start on 12 October 2026. Work is hybrid: two days per week onsite at an office in Makati City, with the remaining days remote. You will support mobile product delivery for a major Philippine bank. Depending on performance and the client's needs, strong contributors may be considered for absorption by the client organization.
As a Senior iOS Mobile App Developer, you will design and build native iOS applications that improve the user experience and support the product’s mobile strategy. Working with cross‑functional teammates, you will create applications that are intuitive, scalable, secure, and optimized for Apple devices.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, reusable, and reliable iOS applications in Swift, using Apple’s native SDKs and frameworks
- Develop and integrate features with product, UX/UI, and design teammates so applications meet usability, accessibility, and experience standards
- Keep code quality high through iOS best practices and modern architecture such as MVVM, with practical use of SwiftUI and UIKit
- Implement and support unit, UI, and integration tests, and diagnose crashes, memory issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Work with backend engineers, product managers, project managers, QA, security, and designers to deliver the product
- Integrate iOS applications with backend services through RESTful APIs, including error handling, authentication, and secure communication
- Write and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and implementation guidelines, and participate in code reviews
- Stay current with iOS frameworks, SDK releases, tools, and security practices. Training and upskilling support is part of the engagement
What you'll bring
- Availability to start full‑time on 12 October 2026, work day‑shift hours, and attend onsite work in Makati City two days per week through 30 June 2027
- 5 or more years of professional native iOS development, including production applications you have designed, built, deployed, and maintained
- Strong proficiency in Swift, with extensive experience in Xcode and the iOS SDK
- Strong understanding of SwiftUI, with practical UIKit experience and experience integrating SwiftUI into existing applications
- Practical experience with MVVM and other modern application architecture patterns
- Experience with dependency management, modular architecture, multi‑module projects, frameworks, packages, or Swift Package Manager
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services into iOS applications
- Strong knowledge of Foundation, UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, URLSession, Core Data, UserDefaults, Keychain, and navigation frameworks
- Understanding of local data persistence and secure storage, including Core Data, Keychain, and other appropriate iOS storage mechanisms
- Strong understanding of iOS application security, including credential storage, authentication, authorization, certificate and SSL handling, and protection of sensitive user data
- Familiarity with XCTest, XCUITest, mocking, and other unit, UI, and automated testing practices
- Experience troubleshooting crashes, memory leaks, threading and concurrency issues, network failures, and performance problems with Instruments and Xcode
- Understanding of Swift concurrency, including async/await, structured concurrency, and asynchronous operations
- Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with Apple App Store deployment, including certificates, provisioning profiles, code signing, TestFlight, App Store Connect, and production releases
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- 10 or more years of professional native iOS development, including production applications you have designed, built, deployed, and maintained
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build, testing, and deployment for iOS applications
- Knowledge of banking, financial services, payments, or fintech
- Experience building applications that handle financial transactions, authentication, personally identifiable information, or other sensitive customer data
- Experience with Apple security frameworks, Face ID or Touch ID, secure authentication flows, and mobile application security
- Experience with Firebase, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, deep linking, or mobile observability platforms
- Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery in large-scale enterprise product teams
- Experience with Android, Flutter, or React Native
