AFPSLAI through CIMD seeks a qualified professional to conduct research, analysis, and technical support for the investment function and liquidity monitoring activities.

You will evaluate banks for accreditation, analyze investment earnings, generate daily market rates, facilitate loans as needed for contingency funding, and prepare Investment and Liquidity reports to guide risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• At least 4 years of work experience in banking or finance.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates application for accreditation of banks as potential investment partner or depository bank.
• Analyses earnings from investments and assesses against financial statements.
• Generates daily market rates (BVAL) and macro indicators for investment impact.
• Facilitates bank loans as part of contingency funding plan.
• Prepares Investment and Liquidity reports for management review.
• Recommends liquidity risk moderation and emergency funding sources.
• Reviews banks' financial information to set placement limits for risks.
• Recommends bank credit ratings for short-term cash placements.
• Evaluates corporate and government bonds as investment options and terms.
• Oversees potential bond issuances as an investment strategy when funds allow.
