Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Quality Engineer - Internal Quality Auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up on audits of the QMS to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements. The role drives continual improvement by identifying risks and opportunities and verifying corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Lead auditor certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in semiconductor/electronics industries.
• Experience leading audits against ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional audits with global teams.
• Proven ability to support certification or customer audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare internal audit programs and schedules.
• Execute audits of systems, processes, products and compliance.
• Prepare audit reports with objective evidence and present findings.
• Track corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit methodologies and practices.
