Job summary

PLANBANK Rural Bank of Canlubang Planters, Inc. seeks a capable Internal Audit Supervisor to coordinate Jr. Auditors, oversee audit work, and ensure effective internal controls. You will review working papers, assist fraud investigations, and evaluate plans and procedures for solid governance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance with 2–3 years of internal audit experience and the ability to lead and present audit findings to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of internal audit experience.
• Proven ability to supervise, review, and guide team members and manage assignment schedules.
• Proficiency in evaluating internal controls, identifying policy and operational weaknesses, tracking corrective actions, and conducting follow-up audits.
• Capability to step in for the Internal Audit Head when needed and present comprehensive audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize activities of Jr. Auditors including scheduling of audit assignments.
• Oversee subordinates' work and ensure the area functions satisfactorily.
• Check working papers prepared by subordinates.
• Review audit reports submitted by Jr. Auditors upon completion of audits.
• Assist in fraud investigations and related inquiries.
• Evaluate plans, strategies, policies, and procedures for adequate management oversight.
• Assess day-to-day controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform operational audits to ensure internal controls are effective.
• Identify weaknesses, monitor corrective actions, and report material weaknesses to the board as needed.
• Document, report, and track recommendations and follow-up deficiencies.
