Job summary

Elastic seeks a Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer to protect data and systems within a production Elastic/Elasticsearch environment. You will build and maintain telemetry ingestion for security events, keep Cloud on Kubernetes healthy, and drive infrastructure using Terraform and AI-assisted tooling.

Experience with ILM, CCS, and secure data handling is essential. You will collaborate across security and engineering teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and compliant

Qualifications

• Experience operating Elastic/Elasticsearch in production, including ingest pipelines and mappings.
• Proven ability to leverage AI to accelerate development and operations while owning outcomes.
• Kubernetes-based deployment, troubleshooting, and cluster management (Helm, operators).
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform to manage cloud and Elasticsearch resources.
• Ability to integrate with REST APIs for data ingestion and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch from cloud provider audits and identity data.
• Maintain Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters; monitor health and upgrade versions.
• Use Terraform and Kubernetes/Helm to deploy and manage ingest pipelines and alerts.
• Develop AI-powered automation for self-healing jobs and health checks.
• Monitor data schemas, backfills, and cost efficiency across the stack.
